the old jaro city hall is now the headquarters of the jaro police. just around the corner is a stone land mark with the seal of the former city of jaro. around the vicinity are several buildings worth preserving, the former office of swift (now an antique store), what used to be a montesorri (burned but restorable) and several others.
another municipal hall worth looking at is the lapaz municipal building now the lapaz puericulture. it is sad that there used to be an old house (jaleco house if i am not mistaken) that has been torn down.
